Associate senior lecturer in defence systems with a specialisation in Systems Management

The position is an appointment pertaining to research, of at least 50%, in the subject of defence systems. The job responsibilities for this position are focused in particular on applied modelling and simulation. You either have a background directly in modelling or simulation, or you have experience where modelling and simulation play a major role. The appointment also includes course responsibility, work with examinations and administrative tasks. The job responsibilities also include applying for your own research funding, supporting the work of subject development and contributing to collaboration and development of contacts with the Swedish Armed Forces and the surrounding society.

A person who holds a relevant doctorate or has equivalent academic competence is qualified for appointment as an associate senior lecturer. In particular, persons should be considered who have obtained a PhD or achieved equivalent competence no more than five years prior to the end of the application period, unless there are special reasons for exemption to this general rule, such as sickness, parental leave or other explanatory circumstances. If the applicant holds a foreign degree, an assessment will be made on a case-by-case basis to determine if it can be considered equivalent to a Swedish degree.
